Step 1. Open your web browser and browse to the video you want to download from YouTube.
Step 2. Copy the URL from the address bar.
Step 3. Open VLC Media Player. Click on Media and select Open Network Stream.
Step 4. Paste the URL you copied from YouTube and hit Play.
Step 5. The video should load and begin to play in VLC. Once this happens, click Tools and select Codec Information.
Step 6. Select and Copy the Location.
Step 7. Go back to YouTube, right click in the address bar and select Paste & Go (or Paste and then hit Enter or Go).
Step 8. The video should now appear in the center of the browser window. Right click on the video and select Save Video As…
Step 9. The file name will be videoplayback.mp4 by default, so change that to something else if you want, then hit Save, and you are done. Rinse and repeat for any other videos you want to download.
